Chairs trigger sequence?

I have a question regarding sensors triggering high states in a specific order. I have 8 ldr's placed in 8 chairs. When no light is detected by a sensor (when a person sits in the chair) it triggers a relay. My question is if it is possible to have a specific sequence on the relays, no matter which chair is occupied. So relay #1 is triggered if one chair is occupied, relay #2 is triggered if 2 chairs are and so on. No matter witch chairs are sat upon.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance. R

Just count the chairs which are sat on.

With a if statement? If chair is sat on i+?

Just count the chairs which are sat on.

Something like this?

int counter = 0;

void setup () {

serial.begin(9600)
}

void loop () {

int sensorVal1 = analogRead(A0);
if (sensorVal1 < 2){
++Counter;
}

int sensorVal2 = analogRead(A1);
if (sensorVal2 < 2){
++Counter;
}

if (Counter == 1 ){
Trigger relay1;
}

if (counter == 2) {
Trigger relay2;
}
Counter = 0;
}
