Change Arduino Uno frequency with program.

Hello. I was wondering. Is there some way to change Arduino Uno main frequency without changing the crystal? In my project I use serial communications and I need same frequency :)

and I need same frequency

Same as what?

I have attiny2313 with 1MHz (TX) and Arduino Uno 16MHz (RX).

I have attiny2313 with 1MHz (TX) and Arduino Uno 16MHz (RX).

Individually, the words and numbers makes some sense, but when herded together like that, something is lost.

Can you explain what it is you are trying to do?

Im trying to get communication with these devices and i wonder if frequencys also need to be same? Or it is OK with different frequencys?

Im trying to get communication

What sort of "communication"?

aren't you looking how to change the baudrate for serial connection? Serial.setup(baudrate);

where baudrate is mesured in bps (bits per second)

The processor speed dosn’t have to be the same, but the baudrate does.
Think of an Arduino (16Mhz) communication with your PC (2Ghz), that is not a problem as long as the baudrates are the same
