Lookup how to install an Arduino 'portable' installation.
My OS is Windows 10 on an 128GB SSD, but the Arduino installation is on a seperate hard disk, Y: in my case.
One other advantage of the portable install is that its easy to copy the whole Arduino, keep backups, and move it between different machines.
