Change fix rate on gps.

I’m using the Fastrax UP501B and having problem getting out data to my arduino device after changing the baud rate and fix rate to 10Hz.

I used this command when initilizing, the UP501B connected to Serial3:

void setup() {

  • Serial.begin(9600); *
  • Serial3.begin(9600);*
    _ Serial3.write("$PMTK390,0,10,57600,0,1,0,1,1,1,0,0,0,2,9600*0F");_
    }
    void loop() {
  • if (Serial3.available()) {*
  • Serial.println(Serial3.read(), BYTE);*
  • }*
    }

And when trying to read:
void setup() {

  • Serial.begin(38400); *
  • Serial3.begin(57600);*
    }
    void loop() {
  • if (Serial3.available()) {*
  • Serial.println(Serial3.read(), BYTE);*
  • }*
    }

No data that comes out makes sence and don’t know how to “find” the GPS again and go back to square one.

Could it be that the update failed and it's still set for 9600?
