Change Flash LEDs

Hey Guys,

In short, would it be possible to change te LED output while flashing a new sketch?
My Arduino will be in a case, and thus there is no visual output while Flashing the device.

I have Googled a few things but haven't found anything so far.
would this be possible by changing the bootloader or is that something entirely different?

Try to imagine we have no idea what your project is, or what it does.

It's a project on a nano.
I suppose what the program does doesn't really matter as changing the flashing process hasn't got anything to do with the sketch that is flashed onto the board?

So you wire the onboard TX and RX LEDs to panel mounted TX and RX LEDs. Remove the original ones unless your external ones are red.

Then I would have to put all nano parts on the pcb as single components, right?
Or solder 2 wires myself, but that won't look very professional..

Sorry don't understand that. What PCB? You haven't mentioned that before.
