changing led driver on a led-floodlight

hello all and thanks for looking into this!

i want to change the led driver of a led-floodlight to control and make it dimmable with my arduino(or raspberry pi)

first of all my hardware setup:

12v 10w led floodlight

AMLDLW-3035Z
http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/175000-199999/177090-da-01-en-DC_DC_LED_TREIBER_AMLDLW_3035Z.pdf

12v 2A AC/DC Adapter

i think i have everything wired up correctly(except for the pwm-pin, but the light should go "on" without it?!)

did i miss something crucial?

e: heres a bigger picture of the floodlight-led

on the led-driver manual it says "Step Down DC/DC LED driver", my power adapter is an ac/dc adapter.

so that should work, right?

hello again,
sorry for pushing but this is important and i dont get why it doesnt work.. :frowning:

heres a bigger picture of the led used in the floodlight:

to me it looks like a typical 10w chip you can get of ebay
http://www.ebay.de/itm/20x-10W-LED-COB-Chip-Fluter-Flutlicht-Strahler-Scheinwerfer-Lampe-DIY-warmwhite-/121604795003?hash=item1c5035ea7b

the led also still works with the built in led driver(which is not dimmable, hg-wp2412)

i managed to get the AMLDLW-3035Z to work with a 3w led-strip(dimming also worked with the arduino), so i guess the led-chip and my driver dont work together.
anyone knows why that could be? what options do i have?

I don't see any reason why that driver wouldn't work. You must have a connection backwards somewhere.
