Good day everyone. I understand this is an Arduino forum, I bring my query here in the hope that I can get help regardless because most of us work with Arduinos and ESPs together.
I need help with narrowing the bandwidth of ESPNow. It seems that the default bandwidth is 40MHz, and this is causing it to encroach onto the work Wifi. I do not want the two to interfere. The obvious solution was to put them on different channels, but our IT has networks on all major channels (1,6,11). The networks that are affected are the ones on channel 1 and 6. I have attached an image showing the networks we have here at work. I'd be grateful if I can get help on how to adjust the bandwidth to about 20Hz preferably, or what alternatives I can try so that I do not get interference. On the Image, the ESPNow network is the one called "Forwarder".
If you dont get a response in here, you could try the Espressif forums, its Espressif that produce and support the ESP32 and the core for the Arduino IDE and ESP-NOW.
Thank you much @srnet , I've had a post on that forum for a couple of days now and I have not gotten a response so far. I was hoping someone here would be able to assist as well. Ill keep trying and hopefully ill come out right.
