Without knowing that module in particular, GPS modules usually return times in UTC and you are responsible to calculate the time into the timezone you want to have. The advantage you have with a GPS is, that you might determine what timezone you're in by mapping the given coordinates to the know timezones. Don't expect the module to have all the (quite complex) timezone borders stored inside.
