Char string comparison

I am sure this topic must have come up before. However, I couldn't find anything!

Does anyone know a quick way to check if one char* string (not the String class type) is part of another, other than searching manually with for-loops?

Thanks

strstr

thanks!

You do know that strstr() actually does loop through the two arrays?
I would use a while() or do-while loop, not knowing the length of either string at start.

And here’s the thing: if you roll your own functions (assuming the spare time) and find ways to improve them, you learn that much more and need that much less. It’s more productive than watching TV and there aren’t good shows on ALL the time!

Of course I do.
How else are you going to do it?

I figure that the guys who wrote the library have spent longer on it than I want to spend, and that it's fit-for-purpose.
