Hi,
Is it possible to charge a lipo during running? I only need around 2mA at 3.3V
I need my project to run continuously so I can't afford a reboot f the controller.
Thanks for sour help.

Is your chip powered directly from the cell or are you using a regulator?
During charging the voltage increases to over 4V, it depends if your circuit can tolerate this.
Doesn't this constant charging affect the Lipos lifetime? A Lipo only has about 300-500 charge cycles.
He meant that the project runs continously, I don't think he was planning on charging 100% of the time... Which would highly reduce it's life.
2 mA is almost equal to no current for a battery, as CommonRodent states, just make sure that your circuit can work with a voltage slightly higher.
thank you all for your replies.
Sacha you got exactly my point and I am happy you could tell me what I wanted to hear ![]()
