Cheap SMD ICs to practice soldering

Hi,

I want to learn to solder SMD, especially the FTDI 232. Unfortunately this IC is too expensive. I wonder if there's a cheap IC with similar packaging strictly for practicing SMD soldering?

This is a cheaper chip and it have a bigger connectors than FT232RL :slight_smile:

Thanks! Very nice though I needed something that looks like the FTDI. I found a 28 pin SSOP IC (I think an audio encoder) that is 5 times cheaper. I only need it for solder practice! Thanks for your help anyway!
