I have this cheap SSD1963 7in display.
display
The end use driver will be a teensy 4.1 but im just tinkering with an arduino mega to learn the UTFT library till i get the teensy.
I have the display wired like the documentation in the UTFT explains.
Im feeding the Display 5v on the LED_A pin, 5V pin beside that for the backlight and 3.3V on the designated pin.
I have the RD pin pulled up with a 3.3v feed.
While using the SSD1963 480x800 example i get a few screen wipes where the brightness fades from right to left, some individual dot lines will show vertically and some other faded nonsense. No text no exact shapes etc.
Here is the code

When talking to chatgtp It says that this screen only uses 3.3v logic levels. Is the title just wrong and its not intended for 5v logic or is Chatgtp throwing me down a rabbit hole?
Teensy uses 3.3v so if that's the case ill just sit around and wait for the board.
Just trying to make sure i don't have a toasted display out of the box.
