Just bought

at that price obviously i was buying it for repurposing, and a can't believe my luck, the official wiimotes are all custom and not very hack friendly but this madcatz wimote is full of goodies,
a small rumble motor
image sensor (on a breakout board), the official wiimote is not and not only that the sensor in the madcatz is pinout labeled 
it have a bluetooth module again removable unlike the official unit where bluetooth is on the main board, it also has a through socket(usefull) for nunchuck, a speaker, smd leds and a gyro which is smd but i know i can safely removing it and remount it on my own board.

The idea of the image sensor interests me, as it can be used to track an IR beacon, Nintend wii has a sensor bar that goes above or below your tv, it contains 2 IR Leds and the wiimote uses them for refrence
