Are there any cheaper TouchScreens for the Arduino? I want in to have both LCD and TouchScreen. Is it possible to buy them seperately but still use them together? I have heard about the TouchShield Slide by LiquidWare but it is way to expensive. Any alternatives? Any help will be much appreciated... Thanks!
In dealextreme I bought a DS touchscreen layer for about 4 usd, but I haven't tested with my arduino yet 
The DS touch screens work fine but you'll have a hard time finding an arduino-controllable LCD to fit it.

Can you explain how the LCD Module works?? Is it a touchscreen and a LCD and an SD Reader/Writer all in one? Which and how many pins does it use? Have you used it before? Also, why would somebody buy the TouchShield Slide sold by LiquidWare rather than this? This is much cheaper? Is there any difference? Is the TouchShield Slide more developed? Also, can the LCD that you mentioned be used on the Arduino Mega? Please explain in detail. All help will be much appreciated!
They have a mega shield for the lcd as well.

That's the best I have seen, too. It has some library support. Still, it looks like it uses a lot of I/O pins and is not really inexpensive. I'm wondering how the big guys go about sourcing LCD Touch Screens?
