Cheapest IC for project

Hey there.
I need a cheap IC for my project. Also it should support Arduino IDE. It should not require any microcontroller board at all. I would need it for distributing current from source to various devices at the right voltage and current. Or could I use a transistor? (Note: There is one source and three/four devices) Also please tell me how do I code the IC?

Think again...

Specify range of voltage and current.

It's unlikely that you can solve this problem with a single chip. What you want is a regulated power supply - usually a complete circuit consisting of many parts. It is likely also that you will need a separate circuit for each voltage and current output.

@r_o Way too little detailed info in your post, so you'll get lots of vague, maybe helpful comments. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Good luck.

Arduino ide is used to program microcontrollers boards.

Sounds like some USB-C PD power delivery system, for sure not simple sigle chip IC.

You need to give more information what you are looking for to accomplish.
Maybe you were looking for Linear Voltage Regulator?

Source: 20V, 10A
Usage: LED, 2 phone chargers and remaining power for other appliances according to rating

Is there anything cheap enough, for this project?

Other than IC / microcontroller?

That is for microcontrollers, not other devices. So your answer to the question as asked is NO.

Thanks for the suggestion. But it needs to aid in power distribution too.

Software other than Arduino, if you tell it's not compatible.

That's too vague. If you can not be more specific then nobody can help you. Actually it looks like you need a professional programmable power source for each consumer. Not cheap, not small :frowning:

Why do you need software control? To provide a power you need a power supply, rather than a microcontroller

You want it to be programmable and compatible with arduino ide, but not being microcontroller... So what it is?

@r_o From the lack of information in your posts since mine, I suspect you either believe your project is supersecret, or you believe you're being clear enough in your postings that people are just being difficult. Far from it. It's very hard to divine your real need from what you've said, and not answering people's questions seeking clarification further demonstrates you need to work on your communication. Asking for help with a general topic, then ignoring responses is not helpful to your cause.

Not trying to deride, or humiliate, just asking you to try to clarify what it is you're doing. Most likely, a simple block diagram of your source, your downstream loads, and their varying specifications would help a lot.

Yeah, it is supersecret,and I don't want :man_detective:.

It needs to do power distribution and voltage regulation. That's all I need. Anything other than IC/microcontroller? Note: Cheap is better

I am answering, but I wanna ensure it remains secret.

in that case, I think, you have figure it out yourself.
