I went to a major hobby shop yesterday and found them putting up Christmas stuff. Since I was looking for cheap and tacky things, I wound up with a couple of strings of battery powered lights. Much cheaper to buy and mod than to get from other sources when you include shipping. Basically I got 20 3mm various colored leds, a four AA battery holder, a transistor, a slide switch with two on positions (steady and blinking), and of course, wire. Those folks looking to make cheap and tacky stuff might want to look into these things or something similar. Greybeard
