I want to create a pcb for my model rocket, pls check if i've done everything alright
If the rocket is less than about 2 meters in length (SWAG), you may encounter difficulties. Your design is likely too large to fit within the available space. Additionally, using modules instead of individual components adds unnecessary weight and bulk, which could further complicate the design.
ok, will keep that in mind. Can u clarify if the connections of microcontoller are proper and that it will work
It is customary to place a bypass cap across VCC/GND rail very close to each IC, and the ATmega328 alone perhaps needs couple of them
Some of what I see:
- shortage of bypass capacitors
- GPS will not work it is not connected
- I2C will not work, no pull up resistors
- No clue as to what U6 is.
- The MPU6050 is not properly pined out.
- The MPU6050 is no longer manufactured, bad choice.
- Connectors are probably a bad choice
- Packages are not noted so SMD assumed
This should get you going.
It is too early to create a PCB. First you must build a prototype and carefully and completely test it. You can do this on breadboard or protoboard.
Check that the GPS you have chosen will work at the altitude and speed of the rocket.
Most standard hobby grade GPS modules have limits built in to stop them working in missiles and rockets etc.
Your mixing 5V logic level and 3.3V logic level componnents, that is real real bad. Dont build the PCB in its current form you could damage the LoRa module, the GPS, MPU6050 and BMP180.
will do tnx
ok tnx
could u pls recommend me a schematic that i can follow and will give results
