I've been considering a project that would require pH correcting water with an acid by using a flow meter & solenoid valve to quantify the acid being added to a relative amount of water, but I am running into an issue finding a flow meter that would chemical resistant enough to work with the acid.
Any suggestions on where I might look for something like that?
What is Your education regarding chemistry?
pH balancing using acid, or the opposite, might not be easy. A few drops to much and the balance easily swings all over the scale.

You may need industrial quality plumbing, valves and sensors, and they are expensive.
Omega is where I go, but there are many other suppliers.
Yes, the fact I need one for 1/4 or 3/8 tubing & acid is where I am running into an issue.
One of the few places that look like they might be an option is JLC's Titan 800 series, they are just over $100 which is still fairly expensive...until I look at the other options
It also depends a lot on which acid you use, and what concentration. Silicone tubes seem to have no problem with aquarium grade pH adjuster.
+1 for a peristaltic pump. The ones with brushed DC motor give a fairly reliable dose based simply on runtime; if you want high precision dosing use a stepper motor.
