China Nano with H340C + Win 10 dont work

Hi,

i have ordert some cheap Arduino Nanos and they dont work.

When i connect the Controller to my PC the Device-Manager don´t recognize anything but the LED on the Nano is burning.

I have found this Topic in the Forum but i cant fix the Problem with this information:

https://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=446913.0

When i try to upload my Sketch i get this:

"Arduino: 1.8.0 (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino Nano, ATmega328"

Sketch uses 3772 bytes (12%) of program storage space. Maximum is 30720 bytes.
Global variables use 225 bytes (10%) of dynamic memory, leaving 1823 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.
avrdude: ser_open(): can't open device "\.\COM3": The device is not connected."

I have to use USB 3.0..... do you agree with the statement in the Topic that i have to connect the Nano with a powerd USB 2.0 HUB like this one?

%product-title% kaufen!!

I have allready download the correct device-drivers for the WCH CH340C but it still dont appear in the Device Manager....

Thanks for your help

Solved it was the Cable.... i thought it worked because the LED was running

Glad you solved it !

For future reference USB 3.0 can cause problems and I recommend a powered USB 2.0 hub if you suspect issues with USB 3.0 at all in regards to not just Arduino but other hardware too.
