Chinese 2.4 TFT LCD shield on DUE

I bought his shield from aliexpress:

I found that the one I have uses ILI9335 and after some hacking I was able to make it work with UTFT (it uses a non standard pinout using PB[0:1] and PD[2:7] and needs LCD_RD at HIGH) but so far so good.

The problem is that my use case needed more processing power so I switched for a arduino due and there is no way to make this little guy to work.

I have seen this kind of shield almost everywhere the same pintout, red board, etc but I haven't found any info to check if the logic is only 5V or any working example and of course the provided library only works for UNO boards.

I am struggling still with my (supposed) 9335 from Banggood.

The line
UTFT myGLCD(ILI9335,A2,A1,A3,A4);
doesnt work of course.

Could you tell me the correct line please? Or do you have a sample code?

Download and install the <Adafruit_TFTLCD.h> library (and <Adafruit_GFX.h> if you do not have it already).

Run any of their example programs and see what ID is reported on the Serial Terminal.

The ILI9335 should be pretty similar to the ILI9325. So if it finds an ID of 0x9335, try tft.begin(0x9325);

Untested. I do not have an ILI9335.

If you have no luck, tell us what ID was found.



Can anyone help me how to operate the UTFT library with ILI9335?

If possible with sample code.
