I'm hoping to use these old model X/Y Joysticks (similar to what you'd find in a electric wheelchair) in my arduino project. I got a number of them off Ebay, but they are not like the ones I normally use. They're model JC2600. I usually can find some JC2000, which I have the data sheet for. but I have 4 of these JC2600 and none of them work when using my normal wiring diagram. After contacting Penny & Giles, I learned that the JC2600 series was custom made for - who ever - and they don't have a pinout for it (or can't release it)
...so, I opened one up hoping to reverse engineer the thing. The hall affect IC in the center is very legible, but I can't find anything on the web regarding these marking. If I could identify this IC, and get the pinout diagram of it, then I could figure out how this joystick should be wired up. If anyone has any ideas about this chip...
thanks.
The numbers on the chip are:
333BCT
and
M26940
