hi guys

I only see and often use this type

now, i want to find a relay
use for 48VDC load and I want to trigger at about 5V,
which relay should I choose
thanks

A mosfet is usually a better option for switching a higher voltage DC load.
So what are you switching.
Leo..

More importantly, how long do you need it to last?

But what current do you want to switch? That is the important parameter that is missing from your request which will have a vital bearing on what relay to choose.

Note this is because you are only looking at hobby web sites. In the real electronics world there are countless different types of relays with all sorts of contact ratings.

That doesn't mean you can connect it directly from an Arduino pin as the current required would be too high. You would still need a FET driver like the one in your picture has. The higher the coil voltage the less current it will take.
