choosing the right plateform for my project

hi evry one i am doing my project on OBD2
i want to interface atmega32 or anyother controller with my touch screen that is available from liquidware.
the main purpose is to send commnds to car's ecu and after getting data from it i have to display it on lcd

can u ppl suggest me aurdino board for this purpuse in which i can program easily and interface my touch screen easily
