Cisco 8841 LCD screen

I have a few Cisco 8841 screens from broken phones. I purchased a tfp401 as the screens have a 40 pin ribbon cable. When I plug the screens into the TFP401 and power it up nothing gets displayed and the LCD screen starts to get extremely hot. Any ideas why that is?

I believe either the pins on the ribbon cable don’t match the outputs of the TFP401 or the voltage that the TFP401 is not the right voltage for the LCD screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After messing with it I was able to get the back lights to come on for a split second then go off. Seems to happen when I wiggle the ribbon cable. But still no video.
