I need a radio OOK switch for an alarm. I'm trying to use an RFM69HC module. it requires an SPI connection for programming. is this necessary every time the radio is used, or can it be set one time and retained by the module?
yes , the rfm69 has no non volatile memory . a power cycle reverts all settings to defaults
