I would like to use the Colour Setter, in the Cloud Dashboard, to control RGB leds. I have an OPLA kit and can see how it is done in the template for the 'Remote Controlled Lights' but this uses the library ' <Arduino_MKRIoTCarrier.h>' I want to do this Colour Setter control not using the Carrier, but just a MKR1010 Module.

Hi @Philbemo. Please provide more details about what you want to accomplish. It's not clear to me from this statement:
You mentioned the Opla kit but then you say you don't want to use the carrier. But the MKR IoT Carrier is the component of the Opla kit that has the RGB LEDs. So this implies to me that you are planning to connect some other RGB LEDs to your MKR WiFi 1010 board. We need to know about those.
The reason is because the answer to your question will be different depending on whether you are using standard passive LEDs, or addressable LEDs such as the WS2812 (AKA "neopixel")-style or APA102 (AKA "dotstar")-style.
