CN3065 lipo charging IC, undervoltage lockout

In the datasheet of the CN3065 lipo charging IC http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/images/d/d9/DSE-CN3065.pdf you can read

Undervoltage Lockout 3.7 V (typ) 3.9 V (max) and Undervoltage Lockout Hysteresis 0.1 V

I have a circuit with a lipo that has now <3.5 V and the CN3065 is not blocking the lipo. I aking myself if I understand something wrong. What means Hysteresis in this context? Is this a kind of "resolution" / accurateness or a difference in a special time? I wonder if this can explain my problem described at Will battery drain completely using LiPo Rider Pro? - #8 by Clemens - General Electronics - Arduino Forum
