Cnc shield for an extruder setup

hi everyone. I'm new to Arduino. I'm looking to use an Arduino Uno to control my extruder setup. this will require a menu to change options using an I2C LCD AND ROTERY ENCODER.

the 3 motors will be:-

extruder motor speed. - nema 23
nema 17 to pull the filament from the extruder controlled by a rotation angle potentiometer.

a nema 17 to wind the filament. speed controlled through the menu.

I also need to be able to control a heating element temperature.

can I do this with a CNC shield?

thanks rob

Yes. CNC shiled is suitable for this application.

thanks for getting back so soon. next question is how would I go about doing it. I understand Arduino CNC shield, drivers and nema 17 connect to each other. where do I connect the nema 23 driver wires? and the hotend and petentiometer?

I don't know if I have just way over thought everything.
I have bought the CNC shield and have the motors except the nema 23 already.
I was trying to work it out in tinkercad but I think that has just over confused me.

thanks rob

DO you know how to program an arduino?

not very clued on it tbh. IV used Arduino IDE for setting up 3d printers. that's about it.

Then I'd suggest you h´get a book about programming and work through that first.
