I can't seem to find what I'm looking for, partially because I don't know enough to know exactly what I'm looking at. :-[
I am setting up a basic prop controller for an electric chair for halloween. I have 3 switches for inputs, 3 relays for outputs. I would like to set up my YX5300 MP3 player with 2 tracks. Track one triggered when switch 1 is activated, track 2 triggered when switch 2 is activated.
From the codes I've seen, there is tons of stuff, which I don't know if it's exactly necessary for my simple set up. I also didn't see how to trigger like I want, though I know it's possible.

It is possible to read the state of a switch. Trivial, even.
It is possible to compare the current state of the switch to the previous state, if that is important. Trivial, even.
It is possible to do something when the state has become pressed, or when the state is pressed, whichever matters. Trivial, even.
As to what you want to do? Who knows? All that hand-waving conveyed no information.
Post a link (as a link, if you want help) to the hardware you are using. Post some code that actually does something, even if it doesn't do everything that you want.
