Code not uploading to arduino nano with usb c port

Hey there, so im trying to upload some simple code to my arduino nano (offbrand) but every time i try i get this error:

its connected to the right port and i have installed the ch340 driver i dont know why it doesnt work anymore tbh.

Two points

Make sure that /dev/cu.usbserial-10 is indeed your Nano; does the port disappear when you disconnect the board?

You seem to be using the 328P option in the tools / processors menu; try the "old bootloader" option.
