how do I view the code Ive installed on my arduino uno
You can’t. Unless you have expensive software to convert machine code to a readable language.
You did of course save a copy in a safe place didn’t you?
you need to save the source code you typed with a name you can relate to before you compile and upload cause once its in arduino memory even with a decompiler it won't make much sense. if you want to make changes to your code you do it in source then recompile and upload and run again you just have to remember what sketch your arduino has in it
You can put Serial.println(“This was created by myProgram.ino”); in setup() and then when the Arduino starts you can see what program wa used to generate the Arduino code.
