Hello, I was wondering if I could get a coin acceptor to work with an Arduino so I could code the input similar to this video: https://channel9.msdn.com/Shows/themakershow/10. So that way when I have a credit, a mame game in retropie would get a credit. But I have no idea how to set up the arduino with the raspberry pi. Any help is appreciated!
Setting up an Arduino to interface to a coin acceptor is possible as you can see from the video.
You may even be able to interface a coin acceptor directly to a pi.
How are you planning to test on the Pi (retro Pie) if there is a credit available before launching a game ?
