Coin Hopper AC220V

im new here im wanted to ask if i can use 12V Mini Power Songle PCB Relay SPDT 10A SRD-12VDC-SL-C to my coin hopper with AC220V

That depends.
How much current does you coin hopper use?

it use 220 Volts AC

That is the voltage.
How many Amps does it need?

i dont know no label in this machine and im still looking for datasheet but with no luck!! the only label i see is AC220V 24-29

Looks like it has a fairly large motor, so I would be hesitant to say if the relay is OK without knowing the current rating.

The motor is a shaded pole induction motor.

Here is a quote from the web-page in the above link:

A major advantage is that the motor's stall current is only slightly higher than the running current, so there is low risk of severe over-heating or tripping the circuit protection if the motor is stalled for some reason.

For that reason, I don't think the starting current is going to be anywhere near 10A.

I found some info it runs in 5A

So its good or bad to use this relay??

Sorry if im asking too much im newbie in this..

Bad.

I suggest you use Solid State relay even though the one you pictured appears adequate. I use some zero cross units that look like this:

Use the Zero cross version as it will keep noise out of your electronics.

Yeah i decided to use SSR-DA40 thanks

Why?
You know they do get Hot.

Use the Zero cross version

Very bad choice for a motor!

Why? I haven't experienced the kind of heating with on/off control that the OP is describing. In my experience, using on/off control helps eliminate a lot of the switching noise. I've had products in production for many years running both brushed and brushless motors without any issues. The solution I suggested is specifically intended for on/off control, not variable speed

im happy to say that im already done the project fotek SSR-DA40 works perfectly fine!! no heating

many thanks for suggestion
