Hello Im just a newbie who need some advice and guidance for my project.
Im struggling in my controls of dc motors. Ive done a serial monitor to check if my components input are working well. the proximity sensor hc sr04 works fine. the logic condition ive made for it works well but my problem is when I added the buttons (bump switch ) and check to the serial monitor. i have found out that the signal bit of the switch is 1 even when im not pressing the button. so I was thinking that the problem might be the sensor which Ive made some conditions interacts with my buttons conditions. please help me sirs/maams.

NO! Do not start another thread for the same problem. Just add your code correctly in your next post to THIS thread.
If your problem is that the state of your switches never changes it is probably because your connections are wrong so please post a circuit diagram too.
