COM Ports not showing up

Windows 10 is really picky about drivers and I know the FTDI driver Arduino bundles is pretty old. So that may be the cause of this error, rather than a corruption or tapmering. You could probably find more info by researching that specific error message. There is a way to restart your computer with driver signing enforcement turned off so you can install drivers without it.

You can probably get an updated FT232 driver from the FTDI manufacturer's website. Note there have been some problems with the newer FTDI drivers intentionally bricking counterfeit FT232 chips. I'm not sure if they're still doing that.
