COM9: failed uploading. No device found but Nano is there

Hi.

Nano 33 BLE, connected via USB, and running Arduino IDE 2.0.3
Loading (trying) various sketches from 'Examples - ArduinoBLE - Peripheral"

Uploading I get this message:
No device found on COM9
Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1

And in the bottom right of the screen I read:
Lin 1,Col 1 UTF-8 Arduino Nano 33 BLE on COM9

And I verify in the Sistem than Nano 33 BLE is assigned to COM9.

Any idea to help?

Thank you, and Merry Christmas.

Microsoft has a utility that gives you enhanced viewing of USB ports:

Universal Serial Bus Viewer in Windows - Windows drivers | Microsoft Learn

Thank you very much

I had many problems connecting with the BLE.
It would talk but would hang.
After a download the serial monitor would not work.
If your comm ports all say CH340 you need to install a different driver designed for the NANO 33 BLE.
It was supposed to install when I installed the board but didn't.
I'm sorry but It has been so long that I don't remember exactly the location of the driver.
After installing your device manager will say "Arduino nano 33 ble.

It is a pleasure (almost) working with the BLE now.
Good Luck
