Combinding Wifly / MP3 Shield, what to be aware of?

Hi everyone,

we are two students working on a project.
The topic is to load an mp3 file through the wlan shield to the sd-card and play it.

We got both working separately, the wlan shield connecting to the internet
and playing mp3s files from the sd-card.

We use

But we stuck by combinding both together.
Whenever we try to play an mp3 and doing a internet-connection (in the setup), everything breaks.

Do you have any tips what we should be aware of?

We already did:

  • changed the sd (select slave pin) to 9
  • set pin 10 to output
  • reading all existing related tutorials ...
