Combining led blink and fade (PWM)

My requirement is, I got 13 led, and I got a rundown for them to fade in and out,

which will be like this :

  • All led fade in
  • Stay brightest for 5 seconds
  • All led fade out
  • Stay all dark for 1 second
  • Led7 fades in
  • Stay brightest for 5 seconds
  • Led7 fades out
  • Stay all dark for 1 second
  • Led6&8 fade in
  • Stay brightest for 5 seconds
  • Led6&8 fade out
  • Stay all dark for 1 second
  • Led1 fades in
  • Stay
  • Led2 fades in
  • Stay
  • Led3 fades in

OK. I am glad that I asked for a full explanation because that is very different from your original description.

When the LEDs fade in and out should all of the fades take the same time ?

As a matter of interest what is this project being used for ?
