My first post here, have been lurking for some time but wanted to gauge opinions of the feasibility of something. (I'm a complete beginning with hardware so please be gentle)
Anyway my end goal is develop something that can read a weight up to 200kg. I eventually want to be able to transmit this information to a server remotely.
Starting with the most fundamental part of it, the measurement of weight. I've been researching a bit a found out that you can fairly easily record the weight with a load cell - i.e. https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10245
My first question is can you join multiple loads cells together to allow the maximum weight to be increased to 200kg? If so how is this accomplished?
