Command nanotec n5 2-2 with arduino Mega

Hello everyone. I hope everything is going well for you. So I'm working on an AGV Robot using RPLIDAR A2 and a Raspberry Pi 3 model B+. For the realization, I'm following this tutorial. and everything is going well.

My problem that i have 2 BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR and 2 Nanotech 5-2-2

My question is, can the arduino be used to control the nanotech? and How ?

The N5-2-2 is designed for CANBUS - perhaps it can be configured to take step/direction inputs (or 10V analog) - the manual is over 400 pages, you'll need to look in there to figure this out - in general manufacturers' controllers like this are very flexible as they want to sell for many applications, so I suspect it can be configured in various ways, and it looks like it can be connected to ethernet too.

Thank you MarkT for your prompt reply . so we can say that the arduino can communicate with the nontec. I just have to figure out how to do it. Using a CAN or Ethernet shield! Am I correct?

As I said consult the manual - or give them a call even - I just Googled "Nanotec 5-2-2" and found some details - the manual is your the next step, I presume you can find it online?
