This is quite possibly because there was a major clean up of SPAM from the section.
It was covered in a seperate topic under website and community.

Ya I too experienced this also all the links to project hub has been broke which brokes me as well as I have re-edit all my post and video !!!
There was no spam in the comments at all though
Maybe not now as I know they were cleaned up.
Arduinos project hub is based around HACKSTER
And offers a better platform without undue waiting times for projects to be evaluated before publishing.
There was never any spam though. My project got screwed up when they did the transition to the new Project Hub.
It's all very confusing. On Arduino.cc it's screwed up, but on hackster.io it isn't.

Considering the viewing and following numbers between Hackster and project hub I would imagine you are better off on Hackster.
