Common Cathod or Common Anode

i am trying to get 4pins RGB LED, but i am not sure which one is suitable for LED Driver LM3914N, Common Cathod or Common Anode?
does it really matter??

It looks like you would want a common anode because in the diagram of typical aplications it has the cathodes of the individual LED’s connected to the chip.
