The 5v wire connects to switches and potentiometers which, in turn, connect to the Nano's pins to read the signals. Other Nano pins output a 5v "HIGH" to a Stepper Driver.
Is your concern that there would be a lack of amperage, or that one Nano's amp draw would impact another?
