Communication between energy meter 6436 and arduino mega using rs485

we are working on project in which we read data from energy meter like voltage, power consumption , etc. using arduino mega through rs485 modbus connection,

this is the circuit diagram of connection that we have done. we just need help in code that read's the data from energy meter em6436.
