Communication from pc through android to an arduino

So I was thinking, what if.. you could connect android to an internet connection and connect bluetooth between android and the arduino and send data from pc over the internet to the android and into the arduino.

Now, I know you could get a wifi shield/module for the arduino, but it'll take a month or two to deliver to my country.

could work if you implement IP tethering code over Bluetooth... that is how you can use your smartphone as a gateway to the internet for your PC... but that won't be an easy challenge... probably dedicated computing chip needed... better off ordering this ESP8266 :slight_smile:
