Compatibility of Duplicate Arduino with new IDE ???

Hi

I just bought a duplicate arduino UNO R3 and after seaching the internet for the whole day I just came to realize that no matter what I do my Windows 7 32 bit PC it is not recognizing the Arduino board i did try the driver steps but it shows an error

" Windows was unable to install your unknown driver "

I heard that IDE 1.6.6 does not support duplicate ones but I even tried 1.6.1 it wasnt working

heres where i bought the board so if anyone knows anything plz help

From the pictures of the kit it looks like the UNO clone uses a third-party USB chip. You need to figure out what chip they use and install the driver for it

No you didn't. You bought a clone (baesd on the picture provided). Contact the technical support team of the seller you bought it from. Ask them what drivers you need to install to make their hardware work.

Never heard that before. If Windows doesn't know what the device is, the IDE has nothing to do with the issue.
