Compatible replacement for arduino nano crystal?

Hi not long ago I damaged the quartz crystal on my arduino and I was thinking of replacing it myself instead of buying another(arduino worked fine until crystal was damaged upon removal from breadboard(don't ask XD))is this a compatible replacement for the crystal on the board

Yes this was sent from a mobile

NO. I think your odds are better if you take a look at: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pack-Quartz-Crystal-Resonators-Oscillator-HC49S-Oscillators-arduino-pic-/320976791820?_trksid=p2047675.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555001%26algo%3DPW.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D29%26meid%3D5742161562108682974%26pid%3D100010%26prg%3D1013%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D261089420925%26

See post #2 in this thread, re difference between a crummy ceramic resonator and
a nice pure crystal.

Its an arduino nano R3 with the SMD quartz crystal
Sorry about the massive picture XD

R3 or V3?

Lefty

Oh V3 just looked on the board

The board pictured is not an official Nano (it's made by "funduino").

As to whether or not the eBay resonator has the same footprint is hard to say. You'd have to look up the datasheet for the eBay resonator and compare it to the footprint on your board.
