I built a gem that (hopefully) simplifies uploading sketches from the command line using Ruby.

It'd be great to hear what you guys think and if you spot any bugs!

for me it would mean I have to install Ruby ....

The interface (based upon read.md) looks rather simple to use,

(an often asked questions)

  • Can one override compiler options?
  • Multi-file projects, how does that work?

Think to convince people you should provide more information.

I am a BIG fan of Ruby - though I much prefer JRuby to MRI Ruby.

However, I have to ask WHY?

What does your Gem do that makes life easier than using the Arduino IDE?

In my opinion it would need to be a lot better (a) to justify the trouble of learning how to use it (and I don't see any documentation on your Github site) and (b) to justify using a non-standard product that most people using this Forum will be unfamiliar with.
