Compiler Text Output not readable

Using Arduino IDE 1.x

Hi,

I am new here, i am starting to test ardunio but my compiler is confused :slight_smile:

The output of serial monitor and compiler is not working properly. I've attached screenshot from compiler. Text are scrambled.

What platform? linux, windows, mac?
tried reinstall it again?

never seen before

Windows 8.1 x64
I've reinstalled it.

I wonder if the compiler's Turkish localization has a problem. Perhaps it is trying to display Unicode characters and IDE can't translate them to plain ASCII.

I am using it at my work computer. It has also got turkish language in it. There is a no problem with it. I will try it with virtual machine but this is kind a weird bug.
