Compiling issues after upgrading to Ubuntu 20.04

I'm trying to compile a board and I'm getting errors that I'm not sure how to deal with.

I'm using Arduino 1.8.12

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Arduino but no luck.

Multiple libraries were found for "WiFi.h"
 Used: /home/denver/snap/arduino/17/.arduino15/packages/esp32/hardware/esp32/1.0.4/libraries/WiFi
 Not used: /snap/arduino/17/libraries/WiFi
exec: "python": executable file not found in $PATH
Error compiling for board DOIT ESP32 DEVKIT V1.

I have checked and done updates in Ubuntu 20.04.

Thank you in anticipation.

It looks like you installed from the repositories. If so, that's a severely outdated version and I would suggest that you install from https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software.

Did you do a clean install of Ubuntu or an upgrade? If the latter, maybe a clean install would solve the issue.

Note:
I'm no longer an active Linux user.
